SP GP9E Action

Top: The 3186 was working the West Valley local on the Hamilton Branch back in May of 1986. The boxcar was a very old CB&Q double door.
Bottom: Two units with fresh red and grey paint were working in Redding, Ca. back in January of 1988.

It looks like the trailing unit in the first photo is the #3191, judging by the M-5 horn.

And both GP-9s in the first shot are former Commuter units... You can see the steam connection under the coupler on the 3186 and the slide out number boards on the second unit. Nice shots, by the way!
