Wow...two good ones. I can only take a couple WAGS based on my very cloudy memory from that time frame.

1. Looks like East L.A. around Soto Street on the UP, although I don't recall any SP haulers working that area.

2. Reminds me of somewhere around Riverside (CA), although I can't put my finger on exactly where.

How far off am I this time?

#2 is it the north end of oceanside harbor just south of the old yard and Fallbrook junction ?

#1 reminds me of El Monte where the State Street Line (Metrolink) seperates from the Alhambra line, though I can't recall a siding there.

#2 reminds me of Green River between Prado Dam and Esperanza on the BNSF, but I think it should be either single or triple track there (depending on the year).

1. Costa Mesa local heading west on the east leg of the wye at Orange just passing CP Maple.

2. CP Eastbrook on the SDNR adjacent to the old Fallbrook Yard.
