I'm looking for any consist info for the Klamath Mail in the early to mid 1960's. The only good photographs online I'm aware of are from Bob Morris. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

PT

Here is a Henry Brueckman shot from 1964 of train 19 with SP 6458 on the point.

Wow, amazing shot. Looks like its coming into Dunsmuir at what they call now "ballpark". I fish that area alot, good place!
Can anyone identify the cars in this photo? Any specific car #'s would be helpful also.

First car looks like a Automat, and the rear two look to be Daylight coaches.

As if eating in a Automat was not bad enough, now the SP has you walking through 8 head end cars to get a can of microwaved Dinty-More stew!

On a more serious note, great picture.
The 6458 is the only FP7 or passenger F7 I'm aware of that had the ice-sickle breakers applied while still in Black Widow. Anyone know of any others?

But it's real convenient for the engine crew!

Microwave ovens came later in 1967. Just vending machines

I believe 6449 had icicle breakers in Black Widow. There may be a couple others. I will check in a couple days when I have access to the info.
