A pair of SW1500's separated by 100 numbers, the 2568 and 2468 tow Rio Grande extended vision caboose 01513 and 19 cars out of West Colton yard. In the background looks to be the remains of a derailment from a train that was either coming down the Palmdale cutoff or traveling on the run-around track.
The next picture is of the local on the street trackage down 9th St. I was surprised to see some graffiti on the front of the switcher way back in 1984!
