Depressed double track mains on each side of GN's 4 track main are both Northern Pacific. As noted, eastbound from Minot or Grand Forks. IIRC, this was the SAC bomb scoring train. SAC would use this train to test bomb crews on accuracy. This is what I remember being told, don't ask me how they did that. The cars often ran through the Twin Cities to various locations. As for the BSB SDP's, well, everyone has their own taste.
