One of the local TV stations where I live shows reruns of Adam-12 in the morning. I just watched Malloy and Reed chase two suspects into Travel Town and trade gunfire. Lots of nice shots of the equipment there. The suspects ran through an ex-UP car full of kids having a birthday party and one of them climbed up on top of Western Pacific 2-8-0 #26 where one of the officers shot him. Not sure what the episode was called, but it was from 1972.

I remember watching that episonde a couple of years ago on the Retro Television or RTV Network..

A couple of months ago on Emergency, I saw an SP SW1500 pass by the scene of an accident involving a police officer and another motorist. Paramedics Johnny Gage (Randolph Mantooth) and Roy Desoto (Kevin Tighe) were arriving at the scene as the SW1500 rolled by.

In one of the " Emergency " shows, one of the Firefighters, climbed up in a BLH S-12 at Metropolitan Stevedore , to Save The Day

I think I remember seeing both of those episodes when the shows were "new".

The funniest one was an episode of CHiPs where they had a staged collision between a car and a Ventura Co Rwy 70 tonner. One of the characters asks how much horsepower the locomotive has and he was told it was 3000 hp!
