SP 9814 East climbs up the grade out of the Sacramento River Canyon in the mid-1990's. The trailing unit is 9815 and the location is near MP329.

The 25 SD70M's in my opinion were THE units that brought the SP into star status during modern times. More so than the AC's. Maybe it was the western territory they rolled in. Hard to explain, but Bob's photo here is a great cause to the arguement.
