Author: 3rdswitch

. . a few more slides out of storage of nothing but Santa Fe F and SD 45's in various service;
top: a trio of SD45's bring a westbound train into Victorville, CA on Santa Fe's First District 5-73.
middle: a pair of SD45's led a pair of F45' eastbound through Daggett, CA with the Super C on the Needles District 5-73.
bottom: a trio of SD45's were working as helpers on the joint DRGW-UP-Santa Fe Utah to Kaiser Steel in Fontana, CA coal train at Hesperia, CA on Santa Fe's First District 5-75.

Those last 2 photos are great: SD-45's from all 3 RR's involved in that train movement! You won't see that anymore.

And I can remember when those were brand new off the floor at EMD. And all the Santa Fe units were in the 1800s! Another bunch of good stuff, JB. Keep them coming!
