Wow - what a trip! It looks like they have their own cars - sleepers and a coach. Was the entire trip done on regularly scheduled trains or were there special movements involved? (I don't have 1960 schedules with me to check). To go around Spokane on the Milwaukee would have required a special train.

Who is it on Trainorders who always says they are working on a time machine? Let's go back!

Any one ever see any photos of this train or one similar?

Read that SPECIAL SERVICE notation on the far right of the Flyer, featuring Train 248, "El Dorado" ... How was THAT done ??

"El Dorado" was a heavyweight open platform lounge car.

Sleepers were not privately owned cars, but from the railroads/Pullman pool.l
