top: the first SP photo train that ran up to Hiland (Summit) for company photographers was headed east down Cajon Pass at Canyon siding with a Santa Fe westbound descending the south track in the distance 2-76. They ran another one a week later without the GE which made the cover of the annual report. middle: westbound empty oil cans running along the LA river on UP rails near downtown LA 9-85. bottom: a badly overexposed eastbound Monolith local rounding the curve at Sand Cut, CA 8-79.
