Nostalgia & History > FoggFile: P&LE GP7 5684 - Fogg: "my design"Date: 12/09/12 06:57 FoggFile: P&LE GP7 5684 - Fogg: "my design" Author: valmont Read several websites about this paint scheme, several saying it never existed .... well here it is @ Pittsburgh, PA in 1959. The slide was taken by Howard Fogg and the second pic here is of that slide mount, with Howard's notations.
In the original shot the unit is in shadows, and I had to lighten it so that more detail showed. I wonder if he had anything to do with any of the black and turquois layouts? Posted from Windows Phone OS 7 Date: 12/09/12 08:02 Re: FoggFile: P&LE GP7 5684 - Fogg: "my design" Author: RuleG A handsome paint scheme, for sure.
Atlas produced a limited run HO-scale model of a GP7 in this scheme. Date: 12/09/12 15:16 Re: FoggFile: P&LE GP7 5684 - Fogg: "my design" Author: spiker97 That would have been a really sharp looking paint scheme if they had only adopted it, especially on the U28B's. I've never seen this before.
