1 - Amtrak SDP40Fs #628, 569 and 556 head West out of Santa Babara with the Coast Starlight on January 10th, 1977. The train had 16 cars and is seen going onto single track at West Santa Barbara.
2 - On the end of the Amtrak Coast Starlight seen in photo #1 is the Southern Pacific business car "DEL MONTE".
3 - SP U25B #6742 arriving in Santa Barbara at East Santa Barbara with the local out of Oxnard. Looks like they have 5 cars of ballast for somewhere in this area. This photo was taken on January 13th, 1977.
