Only one bridge in the background, a yard limit sign and, it looks like the dirt fill to the left is pretty fresh too.

Indeed, the 2nd Carquinez Bridge was completed in 1958, and the date of the photo is said to be 1962. However, SP began downgrading #27/28, ultimately discontinuing those trains a couple of years later. Dave |
