The Silver Lounge is noted in several publications as having been in consist of the Amtrak Chief during the summer of 1972. It is highly unlikely that the car was used on the Amtrak Super Chief as that train was almost exclusively Santa Fe equipment during that area. The Super Chief/El Cap crew dormitory would have been in one of the baggage dorms with transition fairing on the roof and the dome of course would have been one of the Pleasure Dome cars.

Was through Lincoln on #6 7-21-13 along with Puget Sound. It now has an open platform on it.

IIRC, Sierra Hotel is the car with a end platform cut into the rear of the car.
