A few days back, someone asked if it was possible to PhotoShop a new paint scheme onto an existing loco photo. It's taken me awhile, but here's the results of my efforts. Note: The original photo that I used for the two-unit "repaint" was of such low quality that I chose to use a substitute to more accurately represent the Black Widow paint scheme. I'm particularly proud of my virtual "weathering" efforts.

In a related matter, I see that Athearn is releasing a Genesis model of the exceedingly rare SP White Witch scheme, shown further below.

Nah. It's cool, long as no money changes hands.
And there's something about doing it across state lines (big whoop- so you tear yourself away from it for a sec 'till you step over. No big!)

But be careful in the Antelope Valley.
Necrodating was outlawed down there a couple years ago.
Apparently it was a problem that kept popping up. You'd think some truths would be self-evident! But the folks around Lancaster/Palmdale needed some guidelines.

The nose of 6381 was taken at W. Oakland on 8-22-67; slide in my collection. To do justice to the original photographer, whoever that was, the full frame is shown below.

Did the F's follow the rest of the GGRM stuff over to Niles, or were they spun off somewhere?
Mike M. Had big plans for them before GG imploded. They seem to have fallen off radar.

I get the "repaints in the second photo, but why did you Photoshop a Northern Pacific "Monad" onto the upper headlight of 6381? Were you hoping the Northern and Southern would cancel out and give you a "Pacific Railroad" F7? ;^)

I generally find such existential considerations to be perplexing and tend not to initiate them on my own, unless I'm well into cocktail hour.

In truth, I just thought that the red light would be "pretty".

OK, after two brewskis (and not your yellow, run of the mill fizzy 3.6 beer either): extremely excruciating and execrably existential exigencies explicitly espouse that essentially he didn't flock the F-unit, which would have made it into a were-F unit. And the RR is the Pacific and Southwestern, which went from Oakland Pier through Pt Costa, Neroly, Brentwood, to Bellaire. Just ask S. Berman, provided you can find him under all that wheat and stick a microphone in his face.
