A few scans of some 126 color negative from the winter/spring of 1980/1981 all taken at the old CB&Q Ferry, NE engine facility.

1. BN 1965 still wears her CB&Q Mars lights 10 years after the merger. Ferry engine terminal, S. Sioux City, NE Spring 1981.

2. BN 6840 and 5218 rest at the BN Ferry engine terminal in S. Sioux City, NE during the spring of 1981.

3. BN 2557 and SLSF 697 rest on the original main while BN 5476 sits on the old boiler track. Ferry engine terminal, S. Sioux City, NE Spring 1981.

I didn't realize there was a service track in Ferry. I just assumed any Q servicing up there was done in the GN yard. Thanks for these !

Really nice shots from the past. Sure does seem strange Frisco in that area of Nebraska.
