2. CNW 4075A with Train 50 at Villa Park, IL in September 1966.

3. CNW Train 1, The Kate Shelly 400, at  West Ave., Elmhurst, IL in November 1962.

4. CNW Train 28 at Lombard, IL in August 1963.

This looks to be #4075A, not #4975A.

That damn 9 key is too close to the 0 key.

Pullman Standard cab car, but it looks like a solid consist of St. Louis cars after that on the Lombard shot.

Great images Marty. #3 is actually Myrtle Avenue in Elmhurst. The gravel quarry would have dominated the left side of the picture at West Avenue.

As a teenager, I used to often go down to the tracks in Glen Ellyn to watch the westbound Kate Shelley 400 pass by in the evening; the diner lounge, which had been in the CNW-UP-SP "City" trains pool (and built to UP specs) always brought up the rear as in the photo.
