Two Piedmont & Northern Ry Alcos
Author: MartyBernard

These are Roger Puta's. Wikipedia says, "The Piedmont & Northern Railway (reporting mark PN) was a heavy electric interurban company operating over two disconnected divisions in North and South Carolina. Tracks spanned 128 miles (206 km) total between the two segments...." Some of it still exists today. The Wikipedia article is quite good: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piedmont_and_Northern_Railway

1. Piedmont & Northern RS-3 1605 at Greenwood, SC on November 24, 1967.

2. Piedmont & Northern Alco C-420 at Spartanburg, SC in February 1968.

Enjoy,
Marty Bernard

Do you have any from Charlotte? I hired out at Pinoca so it'd be cool to see it back then.
