Does anyone know where I can get a copy of Southern Pacific's SPINS for the East Bay? More specifically Oakland and Berkeley area? This is for a project I'm working on and want to compare to a UP version I own that was produced after the merger.

On left side index (categories)   click:    ALL TRACK CHARTS         (There are a bunch--  scroll through all of them and find what you want)

Did a quick google search and found some discussions recommending asking CSRM in Sacramento. Not sure what the format is, seems to be a lot of people looking for them so they don't last very long on EBAY.

The EBAY Railfan Depot looks like an interesting resource, they are showing CD's of track charts which show tremendous detail of the mainlines. There are copies of those on the web somewhere. As with everything SP having your own copy of anything is an achievement.

Let me know what you find Alex, I'm looking for Spins for Oakland to Sacramento in the mid-90's.

Track charts are different from Spins. spins show industry names and track numbers., track charts refers to track info
