A couple Moffat Memories

Two more from the "leaned too long on the motor drive" file:  It's August 1988, and you can still find pure DRGW lashups on the Moffatt Route.

1)  I forget the name of this siding, Radium, maybe?  But we're along the Colorado River west of Kremmling watching the westbound half of a meet approaching us slowly.  In another moment, an eastbound will pop into the frame led by a bunch of ragged-looking Southern Pacific SDs.  I caught that meet nicely, but it isn't in the trade box.

2)  A few miles to the west, another westbound rolls through State Bridge.

That second scene would make a great model with the sharp curve, road and buildings close to the tracks, and the natural backdrop.
