Switcher Saturday - B&O 9055
Author: refarkas

It is a cloudy July 1973 day in Akron, Ohio, and B&O 9055 sits in the B&O engine facility.

Great shot. Only saw those at Connellsville. Even saw a few lettered Saten Island there also. We never had those in Grafton or Clarksburg. We had some Baldwin switchers but never any Alco's.

Nice side shot of the 9055.
Looks like a wooden caboose on the right?

Yes, it is a wooden caboose. I doubt if I took pictures of it. I was in a locomotive photo mentality then.

Perfect light for a cloudy day. Were you using 25 ASA Kodachrome?
