few IC (ICG) Reposts . . .
Author: 3rdswitch

. . . recently one of my external drives crashed causing a LOT of anxiety but fortunately an outfit was able to make a hundred percent recovery, this drive had MOST of the digital shots I have taken in the last SIX years as well as hundreds of slide scans that I really didn't want to do AGAIN. We live we learn, hopefully. Back up back up back up. While looking through some of the photos on it these shots taken forty plus years ago and posted seven years ago brought back a lot of memories so like it or not here they are ONCE AGAIN!
top: Very clean unit on set of power sitting in Louisville, KY 8-72.
middle: An unusual set of solid blacks were in the McComb, MS engine facility 8-74.
bottom: A southbound is about to depart McComb, MS South yard 7-76.

Like your photos. Most especially like photo two; a set of solid blacks at that date was indeed most highly unusual.

Excellent photos!
I visited McComb about the same time and enjoyed seeing GM&O painted units.
I'm doing the same thing with the backup situation.
I backup my raw and processed images to an external hard drive, an external SSD and a cloud service with Acronis.
I figure one of these might survive a catastrophe.
I'm glad you recovered your pictures.

Love all three. You don't see too many photos of the GP28's.
