I was out there in '94, and my great moment was a westbound that went into Run 8 as soon as the gates dropped. Between the earth-shaking roar of the three SD45's cutting loose, and the endless horn blasting, every car alarm in the station parking lot went off at once just from the shaking. Talk about racket!

Since the Quiet Zone went in, it's just not the same, although the brew pub at the Lumberyard is an amazing place to camp out.

I hate the quiet zone, and that's no thanks to too many crybabies that led to quiet zones all over the country!
