Nostalgia & History > 2 Rio Grande GP30's S. Platte trestleDate: 05/22/17 15:48 2 Rio Grande GP30's S. Platte trestle Author: highgreengraphics On February 19, 1988, two jaunty D&RGW GP30's are regulars on the Belt Job out of North Yard in Denver, CO, and here they are on the Belt Line, rumbling over the South Platte River old wood trestle in north Denver where the Rock Island once tread. This trestle has long been replaced with a steel and concrete structure. === === = === JLH

Of the SD45's (all delivered in small lettering) half were also repainted in large herald: 5315, 5322, 5326, 5327, 5328, 5329, 5331, 5333, 5334, 5336, 5337, 5338 and 5340. Cheers, Jim Fitch |
