GO Transit: 50 Years Old Today!

GO is celebrating its 50th Anniversary today. Service began on May 23, 1967.

Thanks for posting. I like the look of the GP40s in the original scheme. Seems to me they had a display at the CNE in the late-1960s where an out of towner like me could explore some GO equipment.

Yes.....probably did. “Exhibition” Station at the CNE is a stop for GO on the Lakeshores Line West

The 9800 lives on today as an Amtrak GP38H-3.
