Nostalgia & History > B&O 6567Date: 05/28/17 14:45 B&O 6567 Author: refarkas Sometimes a roster shot captures my attention. It is March 14,1982 in Rittman, Ohio, and B&O 6567 (EMD GP9) sits on a short siding across from Morton Salt. Today the Chessie System, B&O 6567, and the siding are now gone. It was a simpler time back then.

Gary Date: 05/29/17 06:09 Re: B&O 6567 Author: garr Nice photo. Sure did seem that the former Chessie road GP7 and GP9's supplied a large number of the new shortlines in the '80/'90s with locomotives. I remeber the day the ex-Chessie GP7's were dropped off in Camak, GA for the Georgia Woodlands which was the first shortline to operate the former Georgia Railroad Washington Branch between Barnett and Washington.
