Says gross tonnage-- guess that
probably includes engines?

As usual, some puzzles. How could SP
have had that little tonnage Weso
to Alazon? It had more Flanigan
to Weso. And who can explain the
UP tonnages around Stockton?

Thanks for posting those.

Yes, gross tonnage includes locomotives and all other "weight" that passes over the rails: both revenue and non-revenue freight + cars + locomotives.
