1995: Kansas City from a Higher Point of View

In March of 1995, I stayed at the Hyatt Regency. The upper floor views gave the railroad a "model train" look.

1) SP

2) Soo Line and Amtrak

3) The Southwest Chief.

Yes, I was there many years ago (late 1980's I think), it is a great view in a great railfanning spot. The Hyatt Regency in Dallas is another great place to stay and watch trains. I stayed there recently, and when I checked in the desk agent warned me about the trains outside the window, despite charging an extra $10 a night for the "City View". I spent more time looking down at the trains than at the city (ha).
