Nostalgia & History > Maine MondayDate: 09/18/17 05:55 Maine Monday Author: thebluecomet Last week someone started a Maine Monday thread with a nice BAR image. I'll continue things with some images from 1976 & 1978.
First two are from a sunny October 4, 1976 day and shows the two Portland Terminal paint schemes. 1005 in the original colors. Third image is from a foggy morning in 1978 as a unit works Rigby yard. Date: 09/18/17 05:59 Re: Maine Monday Author: thebluecomet 1006 at the now gone waterfront yard and GT interchange. The unit then heads back to Rigby with a single GTW boxcar along street trackage on Commercial Street in downtown Portland. October 4, 1976.
