Nostalgia & History > F-unit Friday + Fall Colors on the SOODate: 09/22/17 10:11 F-unit Friday + Fall Colors on the SOO Author: terrybaker From 1978, F7 214-A has sole charge of this typical SOO train. The photographer is unknown, as there is no information on the slide mount other than a 10/78 processing date, but the countryside looks much like N. Wisc. or the Mich. U.P. Within two years 214-A will be traded in to EMD on new power; the re-purposed box/woodchip cars, on the other hand, probably lasted much longer than anyone would have anticipated

Cheers, Jim Date: 09/22/17 19:28 Re: F-unit Friday + Fall Colors on the SOO Author: MP90 Nice moody image from the past. Definitely northern Wisconsin or the U.P. in the fall in a light rain.
