I Caught ATSF 5155, a SD40-2, Twice
Author: MartyBernard

1. and 2. ATSF 5155, 5093, and 5000 in Cajon Pass, CA on March 6, 1994. 5155 and 5093 were SD40-2s but 5000 was a SD40 upgraded to a SD40u at San Bernardino CA in June 1981.

3. and 4. ATSF 5155 passing through the Stockton, CA Amtrak Station on April 16, 1993. The San Joaquin for which the passengers were waiting was right behind it.

Enjoy,
Marty Bernard

Marty, I really like seeing your photos. And Roger's.
The Stockton ones looked familiar, on September 4 you posted a similar view with the 101 leading a train by the Stockton depot with waiting Amtrak passengers that you said was on 5/17/93. The passengers look like the same people in both shots, do you think maybe the 5155 and 101 could have been the same day and they ran two trains ahead of that Amtrak? Look close at the passengers waiting.
