Nostalgia & History > Strange Data on the Second LocomotiveDate: 09/23/17 21:46 Strange Data on the Second Locomotive Author: MartyBernard AT&SF SD45-2u 5843 was the leader in Cajon Pass, CA on September 11, 1991. The second unit is interesting. Roster data says BN 8301 was one of three SD60s built in Nov. 1985 and all three were retired by the BN in Nov. 1987 ( http://www.trainpix.com/bn/EMDORIG/SD60/INDEX.HTM ). In 1991 in my two photos she is patched to EMD 8301.
There is a story here. I hope somebody knows it. Marty Bernard Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 09/23/17 22:06 by MartyBernard. After return from BN it went into EMD's lease fleet and eventually landed up on CSX at their 8789......
