Salinas Valley rewind 40 years

I remember we sat here for quite a while back in 1977 when I rode the Coast Starlight northbound.
Looking back, I really didn't know where I was back then, but I found the general location on GE.
No train shot involved, but I thought it was such a classic California shot that I had to post!

Yep! That's the Salinas Valley. One fun memory was right after I purchased my first camcorder in January, 1986. With my father-in-law driving my Bronco on Hwy 101 we paced the fast moving Coast starlight from Chular to Soledad. I still pull out and watch that video today.
