Nostalgia & History > Santa Fe Sunday from '76Date: 10/15/17 16:39 Santa Fe Sunday from '76 Author: thebluecomet Spent some time visiting Chicagoland back in March 1976. On a nice Saturday following a night filled with tornados the day before, I stopped at the Santa Fe facility at Corwith. One of those tornados went through the Milwaukee's yard at Bensenville.
#1. Several GP20's were seen around the yard. #2. Big U36C's were typical road power of the day. #3. These two Alco switchers look like they recently pulled from service. Edited 1 time(s).
