Great video, love the Kodachrome switcher! Any Idea about location in the last scene? (Major cross streets)?

This ex PE line is next to Colton Ave. and crossing is next one northeast of Mt. Vernon Ave.

Could be the only video of the 2575. Excellent.

Thanks again for this video, many memories here. As a kid in the 60's, mom would pick dad up after work at Reliable Delivery Service and would drive us along Colton ave. on way home to Highgrove, Sometimes we would see a train on this line along Colton ave. After that wound up cruising along this line for many years/reasons. I'm still having trouble however placing where the very last scene is. Is it N/E of I-215? Thanks.

It appears to be west about a quarter mile of the I St. crossing and starting up the little grade there. Near the Lytle Creek concrete flood control river. Once saw a Jack Whitmeyer photo of a PE electric freight motor heading in the same direction at about the same location. Now that was Neat! Wag

Ok, think I nailed it, (very last scene)..forgot Colton Ave./tracks Had a very slight/long curve near N.Orangewood St.(back then a dirt xing before re-do into bike/jogging trail). Also like the "squeaky" horn and engine sound in this scene.
