Good Times On BC Rail, August 1987
Author: FiveChime

Hollywood Rik, the late Rik Campbell in charge of four Alco and MLW smokers, northbound, through Squmish, BC, August, 1987.

Fortunately, many of these locomotives are still in operation on eastern US short line railroads. A few still have the awesome sounding K5H horns.

Will follow this train further north in future video postings.

Regards, Jim Evans

Very nice, Jim...especially with white flags flying.

Thanks Tony, too bad there is so much image quality deterioration, but I guess that can be expected since it was 30 years ago!

Cool video, and flying white flags! Switch target looked diverging, I expected them to head in.
