Siskiyou Line. Author: dmaffei SP sure got there money's worth with the SD9s they purchased. Cool to see 5 of them in helper service. Seeing the entire train is also good for modelers. Thanks for posting

Didn't like the blinker replacement of original SP light package but probably best possible at the time. Regards, Jim Evans Date: 11/11/17 08:48 Re: Sou. Pac. Siskiyou Line. Author: TCnR How far would the mid-trains be in the train? I'm guessing they were needed for Rice hill with not much else going on to the north. Roseburg to the south, Cow Creek Canyon to the south.
Interesting to see the cut of BCR and CN cars in there. Interesting to see the whole train for that matter. Date: 11/11/17 09:24 Re: Sou. Pac. Siskiyou Line. Author: DynamicBrake Nice video, thanks for sharing. Curious as to the symbol?
Kent in CArmel Valley Date: 11/11/17 11:22 Re: Sou. Pac. Siskiyou Line. Author: Fiftyfooter Thanks for posting, love those SP lumber trains with clean cars! That one was a beauty!
Long live the 567 chant! Date: 11/12/17 02:29 Re: Sou. Pac. Siskiyou Line. Author: Fizzboy7 Excellent. The WCTR cars outnumbered the SP ones for once. Also didn't look like the headend or helpers were digging in that hard. Great show.
Date: 11/12/17 07:24 Re: Sou. Pac. Siskiyou Line. Author: jefflocal The area around Drain is fairly mild so the engines wouldn't have been working
too hard. The helpers were needed for Rice Hill, which this train would have already traversed, and even more so for the Divide grade which is a few miles ahead. Great video, Thanks! |
