Author: navarch2 There is nothing like driving over the bridge whose lanes are barely wide enough to pass a truck by you when you are two-blocked against that flimsy railing in your lane to the right, 140 feet over the river....and a train on the bridge shaking it. The Goethals Bridge in NJ can be equally thrilling except the trucks on that bridge travel at near-warp speed....

Now there are three eleven-foot lanes with shoulders on both sides. That's not to say it ain't thrilling still, but nothing like it was.
