Street running in Lancaster, PA.

This photo was taken by me while working the YHLA11 job at Lancaster yard. We are making the last run down Water Street in Lancaster city to pick up 3 loaded cars for the last time. Engine was Conrail 9042. March 24, 1982

Great picture! How far did that trackage go? Was it part of the original PRR main line through Lancaster or was it always industrial trackage?

I believe that was part of the branch line to Quarryville. In the late 60's I shot pictures of the train that serviced that line several times.

Yes, originally was the line to Quarryville.
