In the Baggage Car Behind CB&Q 4960

Second best to being in the cab was the baggage car right behind the tender. This photo is before 4960 had an auxiliary tender for additional water. I took this in Ottawa, IL on June 10, 1963.

When was the last time you saw flashers in service on a non-paved street?

I can think of at least four gravel township roads that cross the BNSF's Aurora Sub where the crossings are protected with flashers and gates.
