Wow, great footage. Surely a busy day on the hill.

It is amazing to see how much the railroad still looked like the Santa Fe at this time

Except for the second clip, these appear to have been taken between Hill 582 and Summit. Really liked
the third clip showing a train going down track two while another train went up track one. And the last
clip also showed a UP train heading for Highland on the Colton Cutoff, perhaps the same train as in
the preceding clip.

The two blue and yellow SF30Cs (second and fourth trains) are Livingston Rebuild Center (LRCX) lease units like this:

Which were somewhat common on early BNSF. They also had ex-ATSF and BN C30-7s. I don’t believe any two were identical...
