A little KM action at Bayshore early 1960's
Author: photobob

SP X-9008 has just arrived from Oakland and is cutting off from its train. The power then backs down to the Bayshore Roundhouse.

I wonder what's the story on the "welcome to....." sign on the hill. I don't remember it, just the "South San Francisco-the industrial city" sign on the other side of Mt. San Bruno.

Looks like "Fivechime" was there in the first photo.

Ditto. I don't remember that sign, only the SSF the Industrial City sign on the other side.

So he finds these 35 mm strips in the closet after 50 years. So are these the Photobob's SP lost episodes?

closet episodes?

I wonder how many times I cut off a loco here in the evening and walked over to the trainman's room on the side of the yard office to tie up, hoping that Rip Mcguire would be there, clandestinely sharing tugs from a bottle of whiskey hidden in his locker.
