July 1974 is six years after the PC merger and just two years before Conrail. PC 8006 visible in the background is a GP38-2 built in 1972.

One of my favorite things as a kid was riding with my parents past Enola on US 15 going to visit relatives and seeing, to me, all the wonderful Penn Central engines. I was most disappointed if they didn't wake me to see this site and would be angry the rest of the way north.

Thank you for bringing back some fond memories for me.

That E33 is on its fourth owner, they must have pretty good locomotives considering they made to Conrail.
