TJY Date: 03/17/18 17:25 Re: Some Boston & Maine Geeps Author: wabash2800 I remember seeing three or four of the "Bluebirds" (GP9s) powering the hot freights on the B&M through Ayer in 1971. I didn't see the GP18s very often, but that might have just been the luck-of-the-draw as I didn't get trackside that often and there were fewer of them. I have some amateur Y tube footage of his action including one GP7 that was almost yellow because the paint had faded so bad. One caboose in the movie footage is rusted badly. I remember the B&M guys calling their cabooses "Buggies".
