Looking for ID on C&O tower -- Oct 84

I was wondering if anyone recognizes this tower on the C&O taken from the Cardinal.

Looks like "A" Cabin at Alleghany, Virginia (I believe that's the local spelling).

Yes. That was "A" Cabin at the town of Alleghany, at the east end of Alleghany Tunnel, on the Alleghany subdivison of the C&O railroad in Alleghany County Virginia...
The location is the subject of the C&O Historical Society book Alleghany With An "A"...
