Union Pacific's Martha Street yard was my favorite place to take train pictures in Omaha back when I was young. Every road that served Omaha/Council Bluffs sent trains thru here (BN on its own line) except maybe the ICG and South Omaha Terminal. And it didn't hurt that Martha Street was within walking distance of my grandmother's house.

1 -- The BN had a lot of SW1000s working in the area, both former CB&Q units and ones bought new like this one I saw in 1976.

2 -- CNW and UP transfers meeting in the summer of 1974.

3 -- A C&EI caboose bringing a Mopac freight to proper closure, also in the summer of 1974.
