Author: Copy19 ...is made even classier by a westbound Southern Pacific freight headed by Black Widow F7s. The train which is passing the "West Reno" sign is about to go through an S-curve following the Truckee River and parallel U.S. Highway 40. Overlooking the scene is the landmark Mt. View Cemetery on the ridge. The curve was a favorite spot for me through my Reno years. This was circa 1961.
