Nostalgia & History > Chicago Transit Authority on the North Side of ChicagoDate: 07/09/18 08:25 Chicago Transit Authority on the North Side of Chicago Author: rhburn3 I think this photo is on the North Side of Chicago. At first, I thought it was between Chicago Avenue and Sedgewick Avenue, but now I am wondering if it further north.
Rick Burn Date: 07/09/18 08:32 Re: Chicago Transit Authority on the North Side of Chicago Author: kevink It's at Newport Avenue between the Belmont and Addison stops. The historic Vautravers Building is on the left edge of the photo. And to seal the deal, the scoreboard at Wrigley is visible in the background. This section of track will be straightened in a few years as part of the work for the Belmont Flyover part of the Red Purple Modernization project.
