Emigrant Gap stopping at the end of double track thanks to the late Mr. Moyers.
Then, for unknown reason point unit is removed just west of summit.

The crew was probably checking to see if Moyer's also removed the rail from inside the snowshed. Easier to rerail a locomtive than half of a train.
