Nostalgia & History > Perryville MDDate: 12/05/18 07:27 Perryville MD Author: King_Coal Our high school train club made an excursion to the B&O museum back in 1973. We made a brief stop in Perryville MD, where I photographed a little of the action.
1) PC E33 4610 was pulling off the Port Deposit line to head south towards Baltimore on a mixed manifest. 2 & 3) PC E44 4455 lead a power move consisting of 3 E44s and 2 GG1s southbound. It was sitting at the then dormant station. Note the catenary strung over the paved track. Please enjoy. Bob Omaha Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 12/05/18 07:28 by King_Coal. Perryville was a GREAT spot to watch trains in PC and early Conrail days. Besides the through freights on the corridor you had trains coming off the Port Road that headed both south and north on the corridor.
